For more than two centuries Plymouth Law Society has represented solicitors in the Plymouth travel to work area. We are committed to maintaining the standards of the profession in the city and beyond - be this through training, sharing of best practice, or providing a collective voice for our members.
Our members are from a variety of large and small firms within the area which we strive to support and nurture. As well as representing our members, the Plymouth Law Society aims to promote and protect public interest at all times.
Whilst the Society has evolved to meet the changing needs of its members in relation to local and national issues and trends, its fundamental objectives and ethos have remained constant.
Plymouth Law Society exists to preserve access to justice for all by supporting and promoting the independence, rights, responsibilities and welfare of local solicitors.
Our current president is Rhodri Davey of Kitsons LLP and the vice-president is Rachel Shoheth of Gard & Co.
