Plymouth Law Society is pleased to announce that ProConvey will become its Official Conveyancing Partner from September.
The partnership will give Plymouth-based ProConvey a prominent presence across the Society’s events and communications, while providing member firms with access to insight and expertise covering conveyancing technology, compliance and the continuing modernisation of the home-moving process.
Founded by former conveyancer Chris Scantlebury, ProConvey has developed an all-in-one digital platform designed to make conveyancing simpler, faster and more efficient for legal professionals and their clients.
The platform supports firms across areas including quotations, digital client onboarding, identity verification, compliance, e-signatures, workflows, milestones, task management and SDLT submissions. It also incorporates licensed Law Society transaction forms and is continually updated to help firms respond to changes affecting the Conveyancing Quality Scheme and the wider regulatory environment.
From its base in Plymouth, ProConvey is building a growing national presence and working with law firms and other property professionals across the UK. Its technology is designed around the practical experience of conveyancers, reducing repetitive administration and enabling legal professionals to spend more time advising and supporting their clients.
Chris Hoile, President of Plymouth Law Society, said:
“We are delighted to welcome ProConvey as our Official Conveyancing Partner. It is particularly pleasing to bring on board an innovative technology company based here in Plymouth which is successfully expanding its reach across the UK.
“Conveyancing firms are having to respond to significant changes in technology, regulation and client expectations. ProConvey understands the practical pressures facing the profession and can help our members explore how technology can support compliance, improve efficiency and deliver a better experience for clients.
“We look forward to working with Chris and his team and to creating opportunities for our members to benefit from their knowledge and insight.”
Chris Scantlebury, Founder of ProConvey, said:
“As a local business, we are very proud to become Plymouth Law Society’s Official Conveyancing Partner. The Society plays an important role in supporting and connecting the local legal profession, and this partnership gives us an excellent opportunity to contribute to that work.
“ProConvey was created from first-hand experience of the conveyancing process. Our aim is to remove unnecessary administration, make compliance easier to manage and give conveyancers the tools they need to provide a faster, clearer and more reassuring service to their clients.
“We are looking forward to meeting member firms, listening to the challenges they face and sharing practical ideas as the conveyancing profession continues to evolve.”
The partnership will also enable ProConvey to contribute expert content and participate in relevant Plymouth Law Society events and activities during the year.
