Devon & Cornwall Refugee Support

DCRS has a dedicated team of co-ordinators, caseworkers, over 45 volunteers, and a Board of Trustees, who ensure that asylum seekers can seek sanctuary in Plymouth whilst the UK government decides on their claim.

The Southwest’s lack of legal representation across all areas of law, and in particular asylum and immigration, has been prevalent for the last 20+ years. Steered by their vision statement DCRS decided that it was their duty to find a solution. So, the developed a legal aid department with the capability to support sanctuary seeking people and vulnerable migrants to have access to justice, for free.
