Why we walk

This event gives you the opportunity to raise funds for the South West division of The Access to Justice Foundation. Funds raised will be used to make grants available to frontline legal advice organisations and charities, who are providing advice free of charge to support marginalised individuals, families, and groups across the region.

Registering for this event

STEP 1: Register your team on the Access to Justice website here.

  • Registering will automatically create your fundraising page through Enthuse. This enables people to sponsor you by sending a donation securely online
  • Please make sure you correctly select whether you are registering as a group or as an individual.
  • You can fundraise as an individual as well as being a part of a group. We would prefer each firm, charity or organisation to sign up as one group and for your group to wear a t-shirt or something that enables us to see who you are walking from. This will make the event more visible and enable us to keep track of who is walking more easily

STEP 2: Once registered please notify the organisers by emailing clara.chan@wbd-uk.com the following details:

  • Group name as registered on Enthuse
  • Name of your organisation
  • Organiser of your group and their email address so we can communicate with you if needed
  • Approximate number of those walking in your group

STEP 3: Read and share the digital flyer attached

  • The flyer details the route and provides additional information regarding the event so please read this
  • You can also share the flyer on social media and by email to encourage as many of the legal community in Plymouth, and the surrounding area, to join the walk and raise awareness
  • PNG format works better for social media, and PDF for email

STEP 4: Share your fundraising page link with colleagues, friends and family by social media or text

  • Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference

Please note: You are very welcome to join walk if you choose not to fundraise. Just taking part will raise awareness for this important cause. Please email us with the above details in step 2 if you will not be creating a fundraising page and we will add you to our list of attendees.
